Police said the burglars used a silver 2005 GMC Savana van with a large dent in the rear.

One of the homeowners said he thought he already had enough security, but he would get even more protection from burglars.

“I kept my doors locked. I have a big dog. Bucktown has private security driving around. I thought all that stuff would be enough. I think even though I have cameras, I have someone coming tomorrow to take a to install a full-fledged security system,” said homeowner Richard Phillips.

No arrests have been made in the burglaries. Police warned homeowners to make sure their surveillance cameras actually work in case the same group strikes again.
