Butterfly Collective fundraiser supports victims of abuse in Metro Detroit

Every summer, there are reports of rising violence across the country, and the Fourth of July can be particularly violent, according to the Gun Violence Archive. But advocates say what’s often overlooked in those statistics is domestic violence. Ashley Sonnenfield, vice president of The Butterfly Collective, spoke with CBS News about the organization’s fundraising efforts.
