MUNCIE, Ind. — Emergency crews received reports of storm damage in the area of Delaware County Road 600-West and Ind. 332 Sunday evening.
A dispatcher reported that at 7:43 p.m., a report was received from EMS personnel about a “possible landing or rotation” in that area, near the unincorporated community of Cammack.
No injuries were reported.
Delaware County Sheriff’s Capt. Jeff Stanley said that around 8:30 p.m., the only damage in the area was to a TK Constructors building north of Jackson Street in Cammack.
Photos were posted online of a dark cloud with a narrow spout approaching the ground, reportedly in the same area. The photos led to speculation that the cloud was a landspout, believed by some to be a low-grade tornado.
The National Weather Service apparently has not issued any warnings about possible tornadoes in the area.
