A Wapakoneta Post officer issued a ticket to a driver for driving 108 mph (174 km/h) in Auglaize County, where the speed limit is 55 mph (88 km/h), according to a social media post.

The car was stationary on Buckland Holden Road.

According to OSHP, this was almost double the speed limit.

This year, more than 15,000 speed-related accidents occurred on Ohio’s roads.
