Cause of death released for man found at abandoned car wash

The cause of death of a man found in an abandoned car wash in October has been released.

The Franklin County Coroner’s Office has ruled the death of Christopher Coleman, 53, a homicide, according to our news partner WBNS in Columbus.

As previously reported by News center 7Columbus Police responded to the car wash on Holt Road in southwest Columbus on Oct. 9 on the report of a found body.

When officers arrived, they found Coleman’s body in one of the car washes.

According to the autopsy report, his cause of death was due to a blunt blow to the head.

The car wash had a fence around the property and was abandoned for years, according to NBC 4 in Columbus.
