Cayce police are searching for a gunman who tried to attack a woman.
Police responded to Guignard Park on Knox Abbott Drive around 7:15 a.m. Friday for a report of a man wearing all black clothing with a gun and attempting to assault a woman, according to a news release.
The man fled the scene and police used K9s to track him. Police continue to patrol the area intensively, the news release said.
People told people not to try to approach the man.
