Celebrate National Sandwich Day with a surplus of Columbia options

The late, great rocker Warren Zevon encouraged us to “enjoy every sandwich.” In Columbia, it is not difficult to follow such wise advice.

From classics to more adventurous versions, there are so many types of sandwiches to enjoy in Columbia. National Sandwich Day is coming up on Sunday, November 3, and while we can’t answer some questions – for example, is a hot dog a sandwich – we can make many recommendations.

Of course, a single item can’t cover every tasty sandwich in a city; but here’s a look at just a few of the city’s many tempting options. Prices are included where possible. As always, check with each restaurant for current prices and availability.
