June 3 – A physical Chase Bank is coming, with the company announcing a June 11 opening date for a Santa Fe location.
The opening of the company’s branch on Cerrillos Road, Suite H, in 2002, in the College Plaza shopping center, is the first outside Albuquerque and comes as the company has expanded into other states in recent years.
According to Chase spokeswoman Maura Cordova, the Santa Fe Chase location is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Branch manager is Yalithza Salcido.
For Chase, which opened its first New Mexico branch on Eubank Boulevard in Albuquerque in May 2021, the Santa Fe location marks its eighth branch in the state. The bank last opened a Chase location at 2706 Central Ave. in December. in Albuquerque.
According to previous reporting, the new Chase location will include six offices, a conference room, booths and a living room area with tables and couches. It will also feature three transaction windows. Cordova added that Chase’s new locations, including the one in Santa Fe, are “breezy and more accessible.”
Cordova said there are 30,000 Chase consumer customers and 15,000 business customers in New Mexico.
