CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was charged in connection with the murder of a 34-year-old woman in Englewood earlier this month.
Antwon Chambers, 32, of Chicago, was charged with first-degree murder and murder with a high probability of death or injury.
Chicago police said Chambers was arrested Thursday in the 500 block of West 69th Street. He was identified as the suspect who fatally injured the woman, who was found Dec. 9 in a building in the 7000 block of South Normal Avenue.
Chambers was taken into custody and charged accordingly, police said.
He will appear at a detention hearing on Sunday.
