CHICAGO (CBS) — This past weekend, a Chicago man was killed in a UTV accident in Wisconsin.
At approximately 8:45 p.m. Saturday night, Juneau County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a UTV crash in Necedah Township. They found a UTV with three occupants in a ditch along the side of the road.
The driver, 52-year-old Victor Navas of Chicago, was pronounced dead.
The front seat passenger was taken to hospital with injuries, but his life is not in danger.
The backseat passenger was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to sheriff’s officials, neither Navas nor the backseat passenger were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash was still being investigated on Wednesday.
