City auditors reveal L&I survey results in Center City

The Philadelphia City Controller on Wednesday announced the findings of a special investigation by the city’s Department of Permits and Inspections. The controller assessed the department’s ability to comply with public safety measures regarding demolition and construction. The survey found that there are 120 imminently dangerous properties and 4,000 are classified as unsafe.
