The Frisch’s at 6188 Wilmington Pike in Sugarcreek Township will close on Thursday, December 19, an employee confirmed to News Center 7.

As previously reported on News Center 7, Frisch’s in the Miami Valley has closed in recent months.
Attorneys for NNN Reit, LP, the landlord of more than 60 Frisch’s locations in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas, asked a magistrate for eviction notices for several restaurants.
In early December, NNN Reit said Frisch’s had fallen behind on rent at the 65 locations it leases from the company and owes them more than $4.5 million in back rent.
It’s unclear why the Sugarcreek Township location is closing.
