MINNEAPOLIS— Saturday morning the overnight showers will move further from the east.
Clouds will clear during the day and afternoon sunshine will raise temperatures into the 80s.
Sunday also looks to remain dry for most of the day, but storm chances are gradually returning, especially towards the evening hours and after midnight. Some storms could become severe in western Minnesota; the biggest threat is damaging wind and hail.
A few storms may linger into Monday morning, but there will be a lull before another system brings more storms late Tuesday and Wednesday. The system could produce 1 to 7 inches of rain.
After that, temperatures will remain mild in the upper 70s and low 80s for the rest of the week.
