After a damp, cloudy and drizzly day on Saturday, Sunday is starting to give us much of the same.
Expect morning temperatures to start in the 60s, with highs ranging from the upper 60s to the low 70s. On the Coast*be able to* seeing just enough rays of sunshine to warm us to 75 degrees in some places.
Otherwise you can count on a fairly cloudy day.
The moist shower pattern will continue until Wednesday, when the remnants of Helene are eventually pushed toward the coast by a trough and cold front. The sun will return from Wednesday afternoon to Friday.
Temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s for the next week.
As for the tropics, all eyes are on the developing region over the Caribbean, the Bay of Campeche and the southern Gulf of Mexico. Conditions are favorable for the development of another tropical system later next week.
This is the same region Helene just came from. It’s too early to tell where a system will track, but the entire Gulf Coast will be on alert again.
