Clouds will move into the area Monday morning before a cold front moves out of the Midwest. Lows will drop into the mid-20s, which is also average for this time of year.
On Monday, the cold front will collide with a high-pressure ridge over the region and be diverted north around the ridge, leaving us dry with a mix of sun and clouds. That said, there may be some stray flurries or sprinkles north and west of the city as the front passes in the afternoon. Highs will be above average in the low to mid 40s.
Behind that cold front, another wave of cold air arrives, and by Tuesday it will feel like a drop in temperatures. The maximum temperatures drop between 28 and 31 degrees below freezing. The sky will be a mix of sun and clouds.
Wednesday and Thursday will remain cold in the 30s with sunshine and clouds each day. Clouds will clear on Friday and temperatures will return to the low 40s.
