Thursday will start off cold again with widespread temperatures in the 20s and 30s, so make sure you layer up in the morning. Clouds will thicken through the day ahead of another system, which will do much to hinder warming, so it’s another cold November day with gray skies and highs barely above 50.
An area of low pressure will move towards the region, bringing clouds and also a chance of showers, but while this will bring favorable rain to the south and west, it looks like the northern edge will be a bit buzzy . This means that for most of our area there is a chance of a few overnight showers from late Thursday night into early Friday morning.
Delaware could see a period of steady rain overnight through Friday. Right now, it looks dry for most of the Eagles game on Thursday night, but temperatures will be chilly. We can’t rule out a shower late in the game or on the way home. Wear layers for good fall football weather.
Clouds will break over the sun on Friday, and then temperatures will climb back into the 60s for the weekend and it will be dry again.
Also note that we should keep our eyes on the tropics again with potential Tropical Cyclone 19. This will likely linger south of Cuba and slowly move westward, eventually crossing the Yucatan on Monday, but we will have to watch closely keep an eye out as this system could hit the US as a hurricane next week
