CHICAGO (CBS) — Another very cold night begins Saturday night, with low temperatures in the single digits to teens across the area. But southerly winds on Sunday will set off a warming trend that will continue through Christmas and Hannukah week.
High temperatures on Sunday will reach freezing, while strong southerly winds will make it feel colder at the Bears game.
The Chicago area will be pummeled by a storm on Monday, with minor impacts including brief areas of freezing drizzle before temperatures rise above freezing. There is a greater chance of light rain during the day.
Temperatures will continue to rise this coming weekend, eventually reaching the 50s. Gray skies are expected all week, but the weather looks mostly dry on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which is also the first day of Hannukah. There are higher chances of rain on Friday and Saturday.
