Firefighters try to contain a blaze that is threatening homes in rural northern Los Angeles County.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the Columbia Fire started near the intersection of N. 60th Street and W. Avenue in Antelope Acres at approximately 3:30 p.m. Crews fully contained the fire a few hours later, after it had burned about 800 acres.
The fire brigade assumes that no one was injured and that no buildings were set on fire.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
