Comfortable temperatures and plenty of sunshine are planned for Southeast Michigan this weekend

(CBS DETROIT) – The weekend looks quite nice, with pleasant temperatures, low humidity and lots of sun.

Friday night will be mild and a bit cool, with temperatures dropping into the low 50s overnight under mostly clear skies. The wind will also decrease on Friday evening, making it a beautiful evening for a campfire.

Saturday morning there will be sunny and dry conditions. Temperatures will peak in the mid-70s. However, cloud cover will slowly increase in the afternoon, with a chance of isolated showers. There is a greater chance of scattered showers with possible thunder on Saturday evening, but the chance of showers disappears after midnight on Sunday morning.

Temperatures on Sunday will start the day in the low 50s. Sunshine and blue skies will continue throughout the day as temperatures reach an afternoon high in the mid-70s with west-northwesterly winds 10 to 15 mph and gusts up to 22 mph.
