The five-mile stretch of highway between M-28 and 3 Mile Road, just south of the Soo, will be completely rebuilt. The asphalt of the road is provided with a new layer and repairs are carried out on joints, railings and verges. The road markings will also be renewed.
Construction workers will close one lane to traffic. The project is expected to end on September 27.
