MINNEAPOLIS – Despite forecast sunshine, Black Friday shoppers should look forward to high temperatures in the teens in Minnesota.
Light snow showers will taper off early this morning as clouds gradually clear.
Wind chills will remain below zero for most of the state for most of the morning, while the Twin Cities metro area will be slightly above zero.
Afternoon wind chills will reach single digits in some areas.
There will be a mix of sun and cloud all weekend, with temperatures around 15 degrees below average. Winds will ease slightly, but temperatures will still feel in the single digits.
A little bit of energy could bring some light snow showers on Tuesday, but timing and placement are still unknown. The system should bring temperatures closer to 30 degrees on Wednesday.
