Mountain View Fire Rescue crews responded to a building fire just north of Erie early Thursday morning.
According to Mountain View Fire Rescue’s Facebook post, Weld County dispatch received a call around 1:40 a.m. from a neighbor who saw flames on a nearby property.
When emergency crews arrived, they found a garage building behind a house on fire, the post said.
“The cause of the fire is unknown but remains under investigation,” said Mountain View Fire Rescue spokesman Rick Tillery.
