A man living in a home in Fort Worth’s Cultural District early Monday shot a person the homeowner said entered the property and attacked him, police said.
The shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. at the home in the 2600 block of Museum Way, Fort Worth police said.
The 27-year-old man who was shot suffered a non-life-threatening wound and was taken to a hospital.
Police have not released any further information about the encounter between the 76-year-old homeowner and the man he shot.
Detectives from the Gun Violence Unit will investigate the shooting.
