It’s cold, cold, cold!
How cold it is that Sunday And its Monday First warning days due to very low temperatures and dangerous chills, especially at night.
Today’s forecast
Don’t be fooled by the sunny sky. Today’s highs will struggle to get out of the low 20s, but it will feel more like teens at best.
Tonight will be even colder with lows in the single digits and teens.
Tomorrow
By early Monday morning, wind chills are likely to be below zero for many in northern and western New York City. Elsewhere we expect some numbers.
Apart from the cold, tomorrow will remain calm with mainly sunny skies.
Looking ahead to Christmas and Hanukkah
There will be a few light snow/rain showers early Tuesday morning (Christmas Eve), our next chance for some precipitation after that snowstorm last week. It won’t cause any problems, but is just enough for some festive snowflakes.
By the afternoon it will be dry with some sunshine. Highs will be in the mid-30s.
Wednesday looks quiet for Christmas and the first night of Hanukkah. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures closer to normal, with a high around 40 degrees.
