It appears that the next Atlantic tropical system will develop in the coming days.
A complex of showers and storms in the western Caribbean will develop quickly and will likely become a tropical depression late next week.
The National Hurricane Center gives the system a 90% chance of developing in the coming days.

The system is expected to strengthen this weekend as it meanders through the Caribbean and will likely be a tropical storm or possibly a hurricane.
The complex is expected to hit Yucatán early next week and then reach the Gulf of Mexico.

Many models indicate that the system could move toward Florida by the middle of next week, but the exact path and impacts are unknown at this time.
This will be a system we will have to keep a close eye on in the coming days.
