DEARBORN, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) – Police say a 70-year-old woman was killed in a domestic dispute in Dearborn over the weekend. One person of interest was arrested.
On December 15 at approximately 7:35 p.m., Dearborn Police responded to the 7800 block of Reuter Street and attempted to resuscitate the victim. According to police, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say “a household member” is in custody, according to a news release.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim. Senseless acts of this nature can shake the community to its core. We will continue this investigation to achieve justice for the victim,” said Police Chief Issa Shahin. a statement.
