Madison Heights police say the charges stem from Johnson being accused of human trafficking for the purpose of prostitution. Johnson allegedly sexually assaulted one of the victims at least twice, as well as physically assaulting her.

Michigan State Police and Homeland Security assisted the Madison Heights Police Department in the investigation.

He was given a $750,000 cash bond and is being lodged in the Oakland County Jail.
