The New Jersey Devils should be looking for bottom-six help at the 2025 NHL Trade Deadline. It’s no secret that they could use more secondary scoring, and the Boston Bruins have an intriguing option in forward Justin Brazeau who can do it is worth considering.
On a struggling Bruins club, Brazeau is quietly having a solid year. In 42 games, the 6-foot-1 winger has 10 goals, 18 points and 65 hits. This way he can put the puck in the net and provide plenty of juice.
If the Devils were to acquire Brazeau, he could work on their third or fourth line. Additionally, due to his offensive skill and net presence, he would give the Devils another option to consider for their second power play.
Another thing that adds to Brazeau’s appeal is his contract. He’s a steal at $775,000 through the end of the season, so he would be incredibly easy for the Devils to afford.
Brazeau is starting to stand out as a trade candidate with the Bruins continuing to lose and his impending unrestricted free agent status. If he is officially made available before the deadline, the Devils should have him on their roster.
