a dangerous and potentially record-breaking heat wave is expected to spread across the central and eastern parts of the US this week.

The combination of heat and humidity will result in heat indexes ranging between 100 and 105 degrees on Monday and around 100 Tuesday through Thursday.

As the heat spreads across Cincinnati, the lack of trees in some neighborhoods can result in noticeable differences in temperature and air quality. In other words, neighborhoods with fewer trees are more likely to experience the hottest temperatures.
