Dog license renewal forms have been sent out; online registrants receive email

Dog license registration has begun in Crawford County. The Court sends registration forms for renewal to registered owners. Owners who registered via the internet in 2024 will receive a reminder email.

“Anyone who owns a dog or has a kennel must obtain a permit before January 31,” said accountant Robyn Sheets.

Dog owners can purchase a one- or three-year license or a permanent license. License costs are:

Dog licenses are on sale until January 31st.

  • Permanent License – $180. Dog owners who purchase a one-year license can do so by using one of the methods below:

Licenses can be purchased by:

  1. Return the registration form along with appropriate payment via US Mail

  2. Visit to the district auditor’s office from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  3. Visit www.doglicenses.us/oh/crawford

  4. Go to one of the designated satellite agencies, which only sell one-year licenses: Crawford County Humane Society, 3590 State Route 98, Bucyrus; 419-562-9149, 12pm-5pm Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday, 10am-2pm Saturday; Horizon Animal Hospital, 933 Bucyrus Road, Galion, 419-468-2169, 8am – 6pm Monday through Friday; and Crawford County Dog Warden, 112 E.
