Former President Donald Trump will visit the Northern California region this Friday with a campaign rally in nearby Reno, NV.
The rally will take place at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino at 5:30 PM with doors opening at 1:30 PM
Trump’s visit to the state will come just after Vice President Kamala Harris leaves Las Vegas Thursday morning following a Univision Town Hall taping. Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, visited Sacramento earlier this week before holding a rally in Reno on Tuesday, where he delivered a speech on women’s rights and common-sense gun laws.
Nevada voters will play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the November election. Despite having only six Electoral College electors, the state has become increasingly purple, with the number of voters who identify as nonpartisan increasing. Several polls, including one in the New York Times, show Harris currently leading in the Silver State — but only by a 1% margin.
Trump will also visit Southern California this Saturday with a rally at Coachella.
