The 101 Freeway reopened Friday morning after a closure of about 30 minutes in downtown Los Angeles as first responders worked with a woman on an overpass on Main Street.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the woman was experiencing a “behavioral emergency.”

When SKYCal flew overhead around 7:30 a.m., a giant inflatable vehicle could be seen placed under the overpass.

California Highway Patrol sent out a signal at 7:20 a.m. saying “all lanes in both directions are closed indefinitely.” Motorists are advised to take alternate routes around highways 101 and 110.

The woman was said to be safely with first responders around 7:45 a.m. and traffic would resume shortly. Just after 8 a.m., all lanes were reopened and traffic could resume.
