MINNEAPOLIS— Thursday will start off cloudy and rainy in some parts of Minnesota, but eventually sunshine will increase and temperatures will rise into the 80s.

The morning rain will mainly affect areas south of the Twin Cities, but the metro could also see a passing rain shower.

Friday looks to be even nicer, with similar temperatures and high pressure keeping everything stable.

Our next chance of rain will come on Saturday, likely later in the day. Highs will drop into the 70s and then rise back into the 80s on Sunday for Father’s Day. Some isolated morning showers are possible that day.

Wednesday storms are causing damage across Minnesota

Lots of Minnesotans will clean up on Thursday of a storm system that brought significant hail, high winds and possible tornado touchdowns.
