Eleven people in Pennsylvania have been hospitalized after eating poisonous mushrooms, officials say

Nearly a dozen people were hospitalized after eating poisonous mushrooms in Pennsylvania, officials said.

Delta-Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company Station 57 said crews were called to a mass casualty incident in Peach Bottom Township, York County on Oct. 11.

Crews were told that eleven people had ingested poisonous mushrooms and were sick.

Seven units from three different provinces responded to the incident. All eleven people, including adults and children, were taken to hospital.
