It’s going to be a great week in Greater Cincinnati.
A secondary cold front will move through the area on Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Clouds will increase by mid-morning, leading to temperatures struggling to reach the 60s in the afternoon.
A few showers are possible this afternoon and early evening in central and southern Ohio and northern Kentucky. Otherwise, mostly clear skies will lead to cold overnight temperatures, the weather service said.
Dry conditions and a warming trend will continue throughout the week. Expect sunny skies on Tuesday afternoon and high temperatures in the 70s and early 80s.
Highs on Wednesday will be in the low to mid 80s. Temperatures on Thursday will be in the upper 80s and low 90s.
Highs on Friday will be in the mid 80s to near 90 degrees. Surface high pressure and a slightly cooler air mass are forecast for Saturday, with afternoon highs ranging from the mid-80s in the north to the upper 80s in the south.
