CHICAGO (CBS) — Evacuations are underway after a freight train derailed in Matteson, Illinois, on Thursday.
According to Matteson police, the CN rail train derailed around 10:30 a.m
The Matteson Fire Department checks each freight car for chemical leaks. Residents are evacuated.
Police have not yet confirmed whether there have been any injuries.
