Look for another Space Coast rocket launch this morning: SpaceX is targeting launch at 5:33 a.m. EST.
The Falcon 9 rocket will lift off from Launch Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station for the Starlink 6-68 mission. If necessary, backup options are available until 9:33 am.
After phase separation, the Falcon 9 will deliver a payload of 24 Starlink internet satellites into low Earth orbit. No sonic booms are expected in Central Florida. Rather, after flying skyward along a southeasterly trajectory, the first stage booster will focus on landing aboard a SpaceX drone ship at sea.

The forecast from the Space Force’s 45th Weather Squadron called for an 85% chance of “go for launch” weather during the launch period.
