Explore Hartsdale, from Westchester Greenhouses and Farm to the Hartsdale Pet Cemetery

We are rivers, forests, mountains. Skyscrapers, sidewalks. Traffic. Loneliness. An ambience. Cities, villages, hamlets. Here our photographers train their craft on what makes this place so special our house.

The Hartsdale Pet Cemetery contains a monument dedicated to The War Dog from the First World War. According to their website, "The Hartsdale Pet Cemetery was founded in 1896 to meet the growing need for a safe and dignified resting place for New York City's pets. Today the beautiful hilltop location known as the "Peaceful kingdom" is the final resting place for more than 80,000 dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles and monkeys.

Explore Hartsdale, a hamlet in the town of Greenburgh, just 40 minutes from Grand Central Terminal on Metro-North. Experience downtown’s quaint shops, the famous Hartsdale Pet Cemetery and much more. The Ridge Road park on the Westchester County Department of Parks and Recreation network is a popular spot for picnickers. There is also the Wonder Field on site for children and adults with a physical or developmental disability. Then check out the shopping and dining options around the ‘Four Corners’, where Central Avenue meets West and East Hartsdale Avenues. Enjoy your time in the hamlet.
