Nov. 10—FAIRMONT — Fairmont police are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday evening at a bar in downtown Fairmont.
According to a press release from the city of Fairmont, 32-year-old Anya Taylor shot Joseph Sinclair Douglas twice after “an altercation” at TG’s Bar & Longue at 306 Adams St. in Fairmont.
Douglas was flown to JW Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for treatment. No details have been released about Douglas’ condition.
Although the press release stated that Taylor is “currently in custody and the weapon has been recovered,” no information was provided as to whether Taylor has been charged with any crimes.
“There are no other victims and no other suspects at large. This is an ongoing investigation and these are all the details the Fairmont Police Department can provide at this time,” the news release said.
