Fake tips for the Fortify Florida app

Fortify Florida is an app used in public schools to report threats or suspicious activity.

This week, Duval County Public Schools sent an email to parents warning of false reports.

The email said: “Unfortunately, according to the Department of Education, Fortify Florida has experienced a high number of false tips. We want to remind you – and ask that you remind your children – that intentionally filing a false report is illegal under Florida law.”
