PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Fall remains in the air in the Philadelphia region Thursday with a crisp morning and pleasant afternoon temperatures around 70 degrees Fahrenheit under sunny skies.
Highs through Thursday will remain in the 70s, with lows in the 50s through Friday and even 40s in the Poconos. It’s a crisp, clear stretch of sunshine that will last into the weekend.
Fear not, summer lovers! The weekend is heating up a bit, back to the seasonable highs of the mid to upper 80s, followed by perhaps a few days in the 90s next week.
As for showers and thunderstorms, Mother Nature will be kind to us and keep us dry for the time being, thanks to a high pressure area that dominates our area.

We don’t see any significant weather in the near future. It’s the opposite: absolutely beautiful conditions. The next chance for showers won’t come until Tuesday of next week, so enjoy!
