It’s been almost a year since someone shot and killed a metro Atlanta school bus driver, and her murder case remains unsolved.
Camesha Johnson’s family held a balloon release in her memory on Sunday.
Johnson was 37 years old when she was murdered.

She drove a school bus in Clayton County.
On July 6, 2023, she had just dropped off some students at summer school and was standing in the parking lot of a BP gas station at Highway 85 and Thomas Road in Riverdale when a bullet flew through her car, passed through her shoulder and hit her heart .
“I miss her so much and I want the world to know that I need help finding who did this because it’s been a year,” said her mother, Virginia Hunter.
The family tells Channel 2’s Courtney Francisco They think whoever killed her knew her.
Francisco will have information about a cash reward being offered to catch her killer WSB tonight at 11:00 p.m.
