Fans seemed to catch a glimpse of it Taylor Swift forgot where she was during a recent Eras Tour performance.
In a new clip shared to social media, the singer seemed lost in her joy for a moment before snapping back into the spotlight as if she had a serious job to do (which, of course, she did: finish the show).
During the day The department of tortured poets era, as “Fortnight” began to segue into “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?” a fan at the edge of the stage took a video of Swift as one of her dancers, dressed as a nurse, helped her put on a jacket over her dress.
Swift smiled as she reached her arms through the sleeves and pulled them into place, but her expression quickly turned to a stoic straight face as she took her microphone from someone else, giving a deadpan look to the camera before turning back to her target returned and looked. as if she had momentarily forgotten her stage directions before returning to the script.
“Please the way her smile falls when she remembers to stay in character 😭,” one Swiftie wrote when she shared the clip with X, and fans were tickled by the silly little glimpse.
“Help,” someone responded, saying they “can’t stop laughing.”
“First she laughed, then she meant it,” another joked, before someone else summarized the series of expressions with emojis: “she said 😁🥰😊😯😒😠.”
“Your wife is watering flowers🙂,” wrote another, quoting “Fifteen days” before adding, “I want to kill her👺.”
“Not like her face please I love her sm,” the comments continued, with some calling her a total “theatre kid” while another begged for more help as they wrote, “She’s so hilarious.”
“Every time she does this she gets a robot,” someone else suggested, and those who called her a “machine” after catching a rare glimpse of BTS during a recent performance would probably agree.
