Design now with friends! Have you ever had a few friends who wanted to play, but not enough to fill a fantasy baseball league? Well, now you can instantly invite up to three people to participate in a free public competition. All you have to do is enter a free public concept space and tap the “Add Friends Pre-Draft” button to invite people to join your concept! (This feature is currently only available for public competitions.)

Start active players! Want to reduce the burden of having to carefully craft your fantasy baseball lineup day in and day out? At the touch of a button on the web or from the Yahoo Fantasy app, the free Start Active Players feature builds your lineup for you, populating your lineup with healthy players who have a match on that specific day/week and those who that would be put on the bench. disabled and/or injured. Fantasy Plus subscribers get access to Start Optimal Players, which fills your lineup with the top-ranked players. And don’t worry: If you use this feature from the home screen, you can set your lineup for multiple fantasy baseball leagues instead of just one, if you want.
Another change in fantasy baseball this season is that the default scoring in all newly created leagues will be head-to-head points. This will be the default in all new competitions, but commissioners of private competitions can change their scoring settings if they wish, while those in public competitions will also have head-to-head category and rotisserie scoring as an option.
