While Dallas Cowboys RB Rico Dowdle hasn’t had the highest ceiling this season, he has given fantasy football managers a very safe floor since taking on the leadership role.

Among RBs with more than 100 rush attempts this season, Dowdle’s 4.7 yards per rush attempt ranks in the top 12 among RBs, with an average of 3.21 yards after contact per attempt (tied for 13th). The bad news for Dowdle was his stance on a struggling Dallas offense, which has the second-fewest offensive touchdowns this season (21). Dowdle has four scores this year, but could add another to the mix in Week 15 with a matchup against the Carolina Panthers on deck.
