Week 8 was also National Tight Ends Day, and by the time the game started on Sunday night, 16 touchdowns were scored by tight ends. That was the opposite story of what this season has been. Either way, fantasy football managers were undoubtedly happy, especially those who drafted Kyle Pitts.
After a few weeks of up and down production, Pitts delivered his best game of the season against Tampa Bay by scoring twice.
Yes, we know the Buccaneers defense has been a punching bag this season. But hey, if our players can’t perform in the easy matchups, how can we have confidence when the matchups get tough?
Fortunately, the matchups will remain light for Pitts in the coming weeks, as he will face the hapless Panthers in Week 9.
