A fatal crash involving a motorcyclist on Interstate Highway 580 in Livermore blocked westbound commutes Thursday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash just before 6 a.m. on North Livermore Avenue blocked four westbound lanes, with only the leftmost lane open. KCBS Radio reported that the crash initially blocked all lanes.
The westbound commute on 580 appeared to be backed up via Tracy and Highway 205.
