Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Cudahy on Saturday evening.
Officers were dispatched to the 5200 block of Clara Street around 9:10 p.m. after learning of the incident, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
They arrived to find a man with gunshot wounds to the torso. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, officers said.
He has not yet been identified.
Investigators say the suspect, described only as a man wearing dark clothing, was seen heading east from the area.
