San Jose crews suppressed a two-alarm fire at a commercial building in the city’s downtown Thursday morning, according to fire officials.
The San Jose Fire Department said crews were alerted around 7:45 a.m. to a fire that affected a vacant commercial building near Second and San Salvador streets.
According to the fire brigade, the fire was under control shortly after eight o’clock.
No injuries have been reported. The public is still advised to avoid the area.
