An auto parts store in Morgan Hill was destroyed by fire last night.
The fire broke out around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Napa Auto Parts store at 17600 Monterey Road in the city’s Madrone neighborhood.
Cal Fire reported that the fire burned into the early morning and was under control by 4 a.m. A portion of Monterey Road was closed while the fire was fought, but has since been reopened.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire. Firefighters were still on the scene at 6 a.m. to limit further danger in the area.
